Bring faith, hope, and love into any space with this original oil painting titled "Gentle Shepherd", by professional artist Shelly Miller. This portrait of Jesus Christ gently cradling a lamb was inspired by the opening words of Psalm 23. This beautiful painting is accented by a handmade, rustic, solid pine frame stained in distressed walnut finish, with an engraving of the words “The Lord is my Shepherd”. This is a unique piece of artwork will serve as a beautiful and gentle reminder of Jesus’ love and devotion.

The painting was created in sepia tone using oil paint on an 8-inch by 8-inch canvas board. The use of minimal color in the piece adds to its simplistic beauty and allows the focus to be on the Son of God Himself. The entire piece, including frame, measures approximately 10.25" square and 0.75" thick. The frame is handcrafted, well-made, and sturdy and can be displayed on a shelf or accent table or hung on a wall using the included sawtooth hanger installed on the back. The finished piece includes a dust cover on the back as well as a plastic pocket containing a double-sided card with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) one side and the story behind the artwork on the other. The COA will be hand-signed by the artist prior to shipping.

This beautiful piece of artwork would make a great gift for any occasion for a pastor or pastor's spouse or a religious friend or family member of the Christian faith.  This beautiful symbol of hope would also make a great wedding or housewarming present for a religious couple.

Your purchase includes only the framed portrait. Other items shown in listing photos are not included.
